Every School Community is Unique

No two school communities look the same, which is why 42 Strong offers flexible options to fit different needs. The program can be woven into advisory periods, leadership classes, or launched as a standalone initiative. Always aligned with the core competencies of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), 42 Strong adapts to each school’s structure—delivering lasting benefits for students, educators, and the broader community.

Why Mentorship Matters

Peer-to-peer mentoring is more than a connection between students—it’s a proven way to strengthen academic and personal growth. Students participating in mentoring programs achieve higher academic performance, build stronger social-emotional skills, and are less likely to engage in risky behaviors. Just as importantly, they feel a greater sense of belonging and connection within their school community. Through 42 Strong, schools gain a structured, easy-to-implement program that brings these outcomes to life. By combining leadership workshops with monthly mentor–mentee activities, we help schools foster stronger relationships, build resilient school cultures, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to feel supported, valued, and ready to thrive.

Monthly Traits That Inspire Development

Students in our program experience multi-layered interactions that support personal growth, emotional well-being, and community connection. Each month, mentors and mentees engage with a new “Tate Trait”—a core value like accountability, empathy, or humility—through structured lessons, activities, and discussions. These sessions aren’t just informative—they’re personal, practical, and deeply meaningful. As students explore each trait, they develop essential skills in decision-making, teamwork, and communication, while growing into positive role models and school culture-builders.
